PVT were a band that Parachute supported a few years ago. Since then they've gone from strength to strength and have become quite popular locally. Their indie-dance approach to life is quite infectious, and I defy anyone who goes to see them not to end up dancing. They're easily one of the best local bands when it comes to their live set. The lead singer 'Ash' is a total maniac.
When it came to cutting the tune, I thought it might be a good idea to link the guys up with the legendary Fuzz Townshend (Bentley Rhythm Ace). He actually produced this single, and I think it's bang on. I got the Swiss producers Metropolitan Bass Scientists to give me a drum and bass mix and the Remes Brothers (the guys who run the production company downstairs) supplied me with a poppy not-so-house mix, and the single was born.
The band are currently writing new material, and their keyboard player Phil has just had a new addition to the family. Look out for them, it wont be long before they start making waves.

The term Electro Indie goes hand in hand with PVT. Tipped as the purveyors of a new sound with an 80s flavour, the band are rapidly gaining a reputation as energetic and entertaining live performers. When they execute their art they offer up a myriad of different genres. Drum and Bass, Hip Hop breaks and good ole rawkus indie guitar form the audio blueprint for the threesome from Birmingham.
